MTG Pauper is coming to Tauranga! Beginning Wednesday 3rd June, Card Merchant will be running a weekly Pauper event as part of our Mid-Week Magic night.

Pauper is a Magic: The Gathering format where you play COMMON CARDS ONLY. This means it is a budget-friendly format, but there are some super powerful commons available (think Ponder, Lightning Bolt, Dark Ritual, Crop Rotation and Mirrodin Artifact Lands).

Check out this video explaining what the format is and how you can get started.

Card Merchant will have several awesome decks to borrow if you're wanting to dip your toes into the format, or you can get started creating your own.
