Dahlia Growing & Dividing Workshop – New Date Added 🌸 Saturday 15th August

We were blown away by the response to our first workshop, so we've decided to add a second date!

If you've grown a few dahlias and would love to feel more confident lifting, dividing and caring for them, we'd love to have you join us.

We'll spend the afternoon sharing what we've learnt growing dahlias here at Maeve's Garden, with practical demonstrations, plenty of time for questions, and everyone will head home with a take-home bundle of dahlia tubers.

A little save the date... Saturday, 8th August.
We've decided it's finally time to run a Dahlia Growing & Dividing Workshop!

If you've started growing dahlias and would love a bit more confidence, or you've got a few established plants and you're wondering how to divide them, we'd love to have you along.

Everyone will head home with a little bunch of dahlia tubers to plant in their own garden.

We're just putting the finishing touches on everything now, and tickets will be released next week.

Our second workshop is coming soon! After having so much fun at our first event, we have decided to host another one. There will be heaps of beautiful flowers, bouquet making, questions and chats. Grab a friend or come on your own, and leave with a beautiful bunch of flowers! We can't wait to see our next group 🥰🌸

If you’re after a little something for Valentine’s Day that won't break the bank, I’ve got Valentine’s Dahlia Posies available now! Two locally grown dahlias, wrapped in cute Valentine paper. Each one is a bit different because we’re using seasonal blooms, so every posy is unique.

You can pre-order online for free delivery within TE Awamutu on Feb 13 or 14, or swing by the flower stand at 1140 Pāterangi Road on Valentine’s day to grab a posy or bigger bouquet.

We are a mother - daughter florist team growing seasonal flowers on a small flower farm near Te Awamutu. Maeve’s Garden started after a significant family loss, when spending time in the garden and creating something beautiful became a way to heal. Sharing our flowers with others felt like the natural next step.

One of our favourite parts of the job is flower delivery - seeing the joy that beautiful flowers bring to others makes our day, and it never gets old!

Today, we grow every bloom ourselves and love being a part of life’s moments - from a simple bunch to brighten someone’s day, to flowers for a milestone celebration, or wedding bouquets. We believe in locally grown flowers, straight from our backyard to your home.
