Just a note about opening hours over the holiday period.
We are closed Christmas Day. Open all other days. On the stats we might be open for fewer hours but we are always there between 10.00am and 2.00pm and usually longer depending on the number of people in town.
Merry Christmas everyone, be kind to all. Eat too much, drink so you are still tolerable and indulge in laziness

Nearly finished the move of the shop. We are now operating totally out of the new shop. And I think it looks really good. The next move is the change of name and the subsequent logos etc.
The new name will be "The Land of Books".
The new shop is right next-door to the old one and is bigger, brighter and much easier to both shop and work in. So 535 Pollen Street, Thames. We will see you there sometime soon

I also intend to change the trading name of the shop in due course

I was getting all excited at the prospect of moving the shop. More space, a little of my personal touch, an innovative design. But it has hit a barrier. Not to do with my business. The moving ultimately affects 3 businesses and the first in line needs retail consent for their new building. What should be easy is becoming a problem.
So now doubt. Do I break my promise and become reluctantly political. Bother! !!
