We have over 3500 items in store. There's got to be something here you need. We have plenty of room in our carpark for trailers, boats & caravans.

All around NZ in the Summer & Autumn you can see so many crops being harvested & carted from farm to farm, or farm to factory. From grapes, wheat, kiwifruit, hops, potatoes, apples, everything really. In the Waikato we have the maize harvest generally in March & April. Forage harvesters, tractors, trucks & trailers going 24 hours a day (when its fine) chopping, carting & stacking it ready for dairy cows to chow down over Winter & Spring. Most of the machinery they use can be found in Model Barn in a smaller scale & a little cheaper!!. Check out this 2 min video of RK Flint Contracting harvesting a maize crop nearby. The head on his forage harvester is 8.5 meters wide & can munch 10 rows of maize at a time. So much power & I can only imagine how much a machine like that costs.

The power if off today for many areas including Model Barn while repairs & maintenance are completed. At Model Barn we are open today till 4pm as normal. Our computers, eftpos & printers are all working with the help of our generator however we dont have lighting so call in as you're passing by but it might pay to bring a head lamp or a torch.

Model Barn will be open every day the long Easter Weekend, Saturday, Sunday & Monday 9am - 4pm. We may even be able to stay open later, just give us a call. So call in on your way past or just come for a drive. We have over 3500 items in store. There's got to be something here you need. Also dont forget Jeremy will be at the Auckland Hobbies Fair on Saturday at Te Atatu. This is a new larger venue for this event & has a lot more parking!!

Model Barn will be at the Auckland Hobbies fair this coming Easter Saturday at its new venue in Te Atatu. This is the biggest collector's fair of its type in NZ & you never know what you can pickup.
