I've completed these items just in time for the Ōtautahi Made market at Te Pae this Sunday. I'm currently focused on crafting candle holders, which I find particularly appealing during winter. Each piece is unique, with one featuring a segment of a railway sleeper and resin poured into the cracks, and the other made from an old fence dropper. As these are one-off creations, I suggest you head to Te Pae on Sunday for a look.

What an incredible adventure Cam had for his birthday on Saturday! It didn't seem so bad that he had to work when we ended up in a stunning place for a lamp workshop. When we encountered a stream crossing, I was certain we were heading in the wrong direction, but no, we were destined for a breathtaking spot at Lake Ohau. Unfortunately, the fog obscured the magnificent views, but what an amazing group of ladies, some of whom had travelled from far and wide to spend a weekend together and indulge in a fantastic lamp workshop and a drink or two.

Recently I was asked to make a plaque for Strathallan for their 30 year anniversary. It is now hanging in the front foyer along with a picture that the residents created.. what a great welcoming picture it is 🥰

What a freezing morning in the garage today... brrrr winter is here. We've been getting asked about key holders for quite some time, so I thought today is the day to sort some out. The special thing about these is this rimu timber has been reclaimed from a Christchurch hospital, and we are going to take them to the Ōtautahi Made market in just over a week's time. Ōtautahi Made

Lovely winter afternoons spent with a small group in our studio making lamps. Great to see repeat crafters coming back to add to their lamp collections. If this looks like something you would like to do on a dull day, just sing out. Weekends are getting pretty full for the next few months, so it's best to get in early to avoid disappointment.
