Leveling an Unbalanced Washer
When your washer hits the spin cycle, do you find yourself jumping up to hold pictures on the walls? While it's typical for your washer to shake some, too much shaking can be a clue that your washer is unbalanced.


Leveling your washer is an easy 5 minute process. Simply tilt the machine back so you can get to the adjustable front legs, and adjust as needed. You will probably be able to adjust these by hand once you turn down the locking nut at the top of the threads. If the threads are rusted use a wrench. Once adjusted correctly, re-tighten the locking nuts to keep the legs in place.
Most washers have self-leveling rear legs, but dirt and rust can cause these to malfunction. If the back of the machine isn't level, tilt the back up a few inches then set it back down. The weight of the machine itself may be enough to loosen dirt and rust. If the back still isn't level, the leveling support could be rusted. If so, lift up the back and tap the legs to loosen it.

For a finishing touch, you can install a set of anti-vibration
pads underneath the washer to keep even typically shaking
and noise to a minimum.

A little TLC goes a long way. Cleaning your refrigerator's condenser coils periodically can eliminate over 70% of service calls!

You can locate your fridge's condenser coils either across the bottom, or at the back of your fridge. This is what's responsible for cooling and condensing the refrigerant in your refrigerator, keeping your fridge nice and cool.
When the coils get clogged with dirt, they cannot efficiently release heat. This causes your compressor to work harder, which uses more energy and ultimately shortens the life of your fridge.
It's recommended that you clean your condenser coils twice a year (more often if you have pets). Use a coil brush to thoroughly clean the coils by bending and getting into the tight areas to loosen the dirt. Then take your vacuum cleaner hose and use it to suck up the dirt and debris
