While some of us have been drinking coffee and pretending to work, Steve’s been at the vice putting in the hours. 😂

The tying bench has been firing out Woolly Buggers, Bo***es, Slushies and, of course, his world famous in Tūrangi indicators.

Whether you’re chasing trout up the Tongariro or just want to look like you know exactly what you’re doing, Steve’s got you covered.

Freshly tied. Tūrangi tested. Fisherman approved. 🎣

Pop in and have a look because there’s nothing quite like catching a fish on a fly that was tied right here in Tūrangi.

It’s becoming no secret that AJ knows exactly what he’s doing when it comes to daffodils. As it turns out, pretty much everything gardening related! 🌱🌼

little bit of community kindness goes a long way! ❤️

A huge thank you to The Olive Rabbit Bed & Breakfast just up the road from us. For donating this wonderful little Community Library to the Anglers’ Table.

It’s already looking right at home and we love the idea of giving our customers somewhere to browse, discover something new, and perhaps find their next great read while enjoying a coffee. ☕📖

The idea is simple. Take One, Leave One. So if you’ve got a book sitting at home that’s finished its journey with you, bring it in and give it a new life with someone else.

It’s little gestures like this that make a community special. 🥰

Thank you, Olive Rabbit, for thinking of us and helping us create another little corner for the Turangi community to enjoy.

🎣 A great visit to the Anglers’ Table!

It was fantastic to have Dame Lynda Topp drop in and catch up with steve and the team at the new Anglers’ Table here in Tūrangi.

Lynda has long been a passionate fly fisher and a strong voice for protecting our waterways and the outdoor environment. Her involvement with Women on the Fly, along with her support of Fish & Game New Zealand and her advocacy for fishing, conservation and access to the outdoors, is something we really value.

We want to acknowledge the time, energy and passion Lynda puts into supporting women in fly fishing, the wider fishing community and the places we all love to fish. We’re proud to stand alongside her and support the work of Fish & Game.

It’s especially fitting to have Lynda visiting us here in Tūrangi. Right in the heart of one of New Zealand’s great fishing regions. 🎣

Great company, good conversation and, of course, a coffee and a bite to eat at the new Anglers’ Table. ☕️
