We are clearing beds and swopping crops. Everything is done by hand which might not be the most efficient in the world but it makes sure that we’re looking after the soil and paying attention to what’s happening underground. Got to love my suite of Japanese hand tools although I’m still pretty terrified of my new Hori Hori knife 😳.

Mother’s Day is such a special way to say thanks to all the mum’s, mother’s and mamas in your life. It can also be sad and triggering for people who have lost their mums, are estranged or never became the mother they expected. Whatever your circumstance let’s celebrate all the mother figures in our lives who inspire and love us. We’re pulling out all the stops to bring as many florals to as many people this Sunday with . Come see us 8-2. Who will you be celebrating with tomorrow? For me I’m going to pop some stems in a vase and remember my own mum who left us suddenly over 30 years ago. 💕💐

Every bouquet we curate is different. Completely unique. Created with the best blooms we grow and source from other NZ growers. Every stem is grown with care and thought for nature. We love all the personality, waywardness and occasional stubbornness of the flowers we grow. And we hope you do too. If you want to celebrate your love with flowers that are a touch contrarian we have you covered. I’ll be wrangling stems on Friday 3-5pm and again Saturday 10-12. Every bouquet we make has a mind of its own. No two flowers grow alike, and no arrangement ever behaves the same way twice. People often say, “Can I have one just like that?” — and we always smile, because nature doesn’t really do copies.
