Before we had our new station St John Waihi, Waihi needed support too.

Today we're fortunate to have a station our crews can be proud of, thanks to years of community fundraising and support.

Now we're inviting Waihi to help other communities like ours, get their new stations through the Light the Way Appeal.

Schools and community groups, we encourage you to hold a m***i day, join 'Steps for Stations' or create your own fundraising challenge. Every contribution helps light the way, so getvin touch if you'd like us to help facilitate your fundraiser!

Remember too, that every purchase in our store and every donation of quality goods helps support the work of Hato Hone St John.

Welcome to the looong weekend! We've had some beautiful furniture donations this week which means prices on our older furniture have now been slashed! Pop in store to take a look at what we have, some great project pieces, including drawers from as low as $15!

We're open from 10 to 1 today, closed Monday for Kings Birthday.

Good morning! Hey, its been a minute, so here's a sneak peek at what's new instore!
Family clothing is flying out the door and being restocked daily, with plenty of fresh looks for the cooler days.
We've refreshed all our displays to show off some gorgeous new homewares and home decor, plus theres plenty to rug up with in the linen section and loads of long weekend reads in the book department.

Annnnd, let's not forget a huge range of home appliances in the electrical department. Heaters, jugs, toasters, coffee machines, cockpots, toastie makers, rice cookers and heaps more from $7!

On the donation side of things, we’re actively seeking great condition winter clothing for the whole family.
(Especially mens and womens 16 plus and petite size 8)

A gentle reminder too:
🚫 No black rubbish sacks please. Unfortunately we’ve had a few too many not-so-great experiences, so we’re no longer accepting them.
We’re always incredibly grateful for your support, so all clean, tidy items in boxes or reusable bags are perfect 💛

And a special shoutout to the many hardworking “shop mums” within our volunteer team, the women who quietly care for others, keep things running, lend a hand wherever needed, and somehow always know where everything is 😄

We will be closed both tomorrow (Saturday) and Monday, to commemorate ANZAC Day.

We take this time to pause, remember and publicly acknowledge all those who served and sacrificed, as well as those who continue to serve our country to this day.

We will reopen on Tuesday 28 April from 10am and look forward to seeing you then.
