Morning all, one thing that really inspires me in Waimate is seeing just how many amazing local businesses are run by women.
Now, Im not taking anything away from the fantastic men in business too – there are plenty of hardworking local guys doing a great job!
But it's pretty awesome to see so many women backing themselves, taking the leap, working long hours, juggling families, and building successful businesses that help keep our town thriving.
From shops and cafes to services, trades, health, beauty, and everything in between, there are some seriously hardworking women out there quietly getting things done and making a real difference to our community.
Running a business isn't always easy, and it takes courage, determination, and more than a few cups of coffee. So here's a shout-out to all the women in business around Waimate – you're doing an amazing job, and it's great to see.
Im not tech savvy to tag you all, and there is so many now, but well done, and we will get Waimate thriving with all the great diverse shops that people enjoy visiting.

Hi, whew, its been a busy week!
The tool area has had a bit of a change around, plenty of good new tools on the shelves
Some furniture in this week including a 7kg washing machine, drier, beds, couches, tables, chairs, and more.
We are open all weekend 10-2pm, including Monday, Kings birthday.
