Have you tried the walk from Waipu Village to the Cove yet?

✅ Waipū Walk and Cycleway connection completed: the "missing link" connecting Waipū township to the Cove is now finished, marking the completion of the Waipū Walk Cove Trail.

The mostly flat, mostly gravel, 8.5km route offers an easy and scenic ride between Waipū and Waipū Cove, making it perfect for walking, cycling and enjoying the fresh salt sea air.

The project has been led by the Waipū Walking and Cycling Trust, with support from Council 💝
