A little white ink, a touch of vellum and some beautiful gold foil…

Today I’m sharing an Elegantly Wrapped Christmas Card that combines a simple repeat-stamping technique with a touch of Christmas sparkle.

I’ve used white Craft Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock to create the background, then added vellum and a hot-foiled sentiment.

And the design was inspired by a card Martin Stone created six years ago. I love how an older card can still spark a new idea when we give it a fresh twist with our current supplies.

I've featured the video showing you how I created the card, including my first slightly nerve-wracking attempt at hot foiling live on Facebook!

Meet Woodland Wishes — a fun mix of woodland animals and Christmas sentiments. I especially love the little tree of animals. How cute would that be as the focal point on a Christmas card?

A little taste of spring crafting!
I’m loving the fresh green shades in this card, created using the Simply Leaves Bundle and blending brushes. I blended three shades of green onto Basic White Cardstock, then added a little water to create those gorgeous organic spots before punching out the leaves.

I’ve combined the leaves with vellum, Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper and a textured card base to create a card that feels fresh and natural.

And there’s a video tutorial to go with this card!
