It’s been 10 years since this photo was taken on Cow Lane, Queenstown by Julian Apse.
The jacket hasn’t changed .. and that was the whole point. I wanted to invent something that wasn’t dependent on trend and would remain a live piece in the wearers life.. gradually shaping to their form, whilst simultaneously creating a personality of its own, developing the patina and scars that gracefully enhance an oilskin well worn.
I’ve added a few colours since .. and chosen to use organic cotton oilskin now. It’s been such a joy to meet all of you over the years who have purchased from me.. you’re a sassy bunch .. driven and alive .. and I look forward to meeting the ones to come ❤️
