Hi, I am the face behind Kids Change Up. I don't enjoy showing it - especially now that it is so wrinkled! A result of many, many summers under the New Zealand sun near water, enjoying a carefree lifestyle in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
I have always believed we should be looking after this extraordinary planet and living here in Wanaka - a jewel in the crown - has affirmed for me how important this is.

So I am combining my desire to run a sustainable and environmentally conscious business with my love of outfitting people in clothes that have style and longevity.
It's not easy to do this in our fast fashion engorged world where we are brainwashed into thinking we must have every latest and greatest. It's a process. And if you are reading this you are probably on this path already.

Meet 'Kids Change Up'.
We specialise in bringing you the best of what secondhand has to offer. And we are focusing on Kids aged 5-15yrs. Why? Because kids turn over clothes so quickly. Clothing them is perpetual and can be expensive. (Just quietly, I think a lot of our kids end up wearing some pretty average clothes thanks to cheap fast fashion that
a) shows it's poor quality very quickly after purchase and
b) is obsessed with dressing our kids like mini adults (I wont start here on how inappropriate this is especially for our little girls)
It also means that we all have clothes in our kids closets with heaps of wear left.

SO, what do we offer?
Quality clothing - we edit for damage, stains etc
Affordability - our low prices will surprise you most of our clothing is considered 'label'
Ease of purchase - online rather than visiting whiffy, chocked full stores.
We sell on behalf of several consignees and have new stock coming through regularly.
We have the facility for local buyers to try before they buy and we credit back postage on returns.
