🎶🐹 Get ready to groove at our Retro & Vintage Pet and Pedigree Double Show! 🐹🎶

Join Capital Cavy Club and the New Zealand Cavy Club on Saturday 8 August 2026 at Coley Street School, Foxton for a fun-filled day celebrating guinea pigs of all shapes, coats and personalities!

🚪 Doors open: 8:00am
🏆 Pedigree judging: 10:00am
🐾 Pet show judging: 2:00pm - enter on the day
📝 Pedigree entries close: Sunday 2 August

Dress your cavy in their finest Retro & Vintage outfit for our fancy dress competition, held during the pet show. Beginners and curious visitors are warmly welcome - no show experience needed!

There will also be guinea pigs available for adoption, free nail trimming, free health checks and friendly advice for new owners.

Dust off those records, bring the whole family and enjoy a brilliant day with fellow guinea pig lovers. Everyone is welcome! 🌟

🐹✨ Foxton, the cavies are coming - and this one is going to be extra special! ✨🐹

Capital Cavy Club & NZCC are heading to Coley Street School Hall, Foxton on Saturday 6th June 2026 for a wonderful Pet & Pedigree Guinea Pig Show, and we’d love you to join us for a fun, friendly day celebrating all things cavy.

Whether you’re bringing along a polished show pig, a much-loved pet, or you’re simply curious and keen to see what a guinea pig show is all about, you’ll be warmly welcomed. It’s a great chance to meet other guinea pig lovers, pick up care and grooming tips, enjoy the raffles and sales table, and soak up the lovely community atmosphere.

Judging begins at 10:00am, with the Pet Show starting at 2:00pm — perfect for first-timers, families, and anyone with a clean, healthy guinea pig who deserves their moment to shine. Free health checks and nail trims will also be available on the day.

🐹💚 Upper Hutt, get ready… the guinea pigs are taking over! 💚🐹

Capital Cavy Club & NZCC are bringing a fabulous Pet & Pedigree Guinea Pig Show to Silverpine Scouts Hall, Upper Hutt on Saturday 30th May 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a brilliant day for cavy lovers of all ages.

Whether your guinea pig is a pampered pet, a polished pedigree, or simply the beloved boss of your household, this is your chance to join the fun. New to showing? Perfect! Our friendly cavy community loves welcoming first-timers, and there’ll be plenty of people happy to help with tips, grooming advice, nail trims, health checks, and all those “what do I do next?” questions.

Judging begins at 10:00am, with the Pet Show kicking off at 2:00pm — plus raffles, sales table goodies, competitions, and lots of guinea pig chat throughout the day.

🎭 This show’s fancy dress theme is KIWIANA, so we can’t wait to see your creative tributes to Aotearoa. Think classic Kiwi icons, bold ideas, and plenty of adorable cavy-sized flair!
