Start of 2026 with a silver face 70s twin reverb in to swap out the 110v power transformer for a 230v Transformer, new power plug and remove ground switch and death cap.

Rosewood fingerboard re radius and refret

Fender Blues Jnr repair.
Amp came in for some upgrades including power capacitors tubes and general service.
After opening amp I found that it had caught fire at some point and someone spent a lot of time trying to repair it but not very well.
So I ordered an awesome replacement board that drops straight into original mounting points no modifications needed for a reliable repair that should out live the original fender circuitboards.
Also replaced capacitors with high quality F&T’s. Cleaned all pots and jacks. Tube position V1 was changed from 12AX7 to 12AT7 for less gain as customer wanted a cleaner tone.

Maple neck re fret
Client wanted jumbo frets installed so it required fingerboard to be re radius and straightened then colour matching original finish and lacquering before pressing frets in, then a final level, crown, polish, fit new nut and final setup.

What happens when you crash a motorcycle with guitar on back!!
One of the worst damaged guitars I’ve had to put back together, about a weeks work in total. But it’s all back together playing as good as ever.

1934 Martin arch top in shop for a tricky job re gluing all 4 back braces that were lose. Had to make a little gadget to get glue in through the F holes and under the braces.

70’s Fender neck in for a re fret and removal of all peeling lacquer and refinish.

70’s Fender strat Re Fret.
Customer opted to leave original finish on fingerboard which meant carefully cutting lacquer around frets and removing them without chipping the finish.

Couple of double bass repairs.
Neck broke off body because of poor fit and it had very little glue actually holding it.
Other bass had a bunch of cracks on its sides that needed repair.
