Marsden Books is an independent bookshop with an eclectic selection of New Zealand, non fiction, and fiction titles and a large selection of children's books. The team at Marsden Books, Briony Hogg (Owner), Heather, Philippa, Anne, Beatrice, Pip and Belinda work hard to ensure all our customers get very personal service. We take special orders for customers and have a particular interest in encouraging young readers of all ages. We host author events regularly during the year.

With our friends at the Rotary Club of Wellington North - Karori to Khandallah and the Karori Lions Club Inc. holding their annual Karori Community Book Fair right next door at the Karori Baptist Church Hall, we thought we’d join in the celebrations.

🕙 Marsden Books will be OPEN on Matariki Friday from 10am–4pm (and Saturday 10-3 and Sunday 10-2)

Pop into the Book Fair to browse thousands of pre-loved books, then wander next door to discover the latest new releases, gorgeous Matariki titles, puzzles, activities and gifts.
