Great news for snow lovers: The Remarkables and Whakapapa ski fields are getting closer to open for action this winter! 🏔️✨ Whakapapa is not open for skiing and snowboarding today, but it is open for early-season snow play and sightseeing. According to the official Whakapapa Snow Report, the winter season kicked off this weekend for "Snowland" activities (tubing, sledding, and snow play) and scenic gondola rides.
