Opportunity for Animals The Opportunity for Animals op-shops are charity stores fundraising for animals in need and a project of the Animal Protection Society.

We sell good quality secondhand clothing and household goods. The Opportunity for Animals stores support the continuing running of the Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary in Otaki. The Sanctuary is a safe space, rehabilitating abused, injured and neglected nonhuman animals – both native and introduced. Every day, hundreds of thousands of animals suffer pain and fear in intensive farms, stockyards and sla

ughterhouses throughout New Zealand. Countless others are neglected or abandoned. The Sanctuary offers unwanted and ill-treated farm and domestic animals a chance of a new life. http://www.theblacksheep.org.nz

The Opportunity for Animals stores provide a large selection of 2nd hand clothes, home-wares, books and toys at decent prices...

Opportunity for Animals is actively environmentally aware and make choices with the environment in mind through
• recycling
• using healthy cleaning products etc.
• we encourage people to say no to bags (which we only provide recycled)
• we encourage donations, thereby removing waste from going to the landfill
• we give away unsellable goods in the hope others will find a further use for them

Women's and active wear TOPS are all $3 each! Plus many other bargains on great clothing items, books, kitchenware, and bric-a-brac!

We will be closed tomorrow (Monday) while we give the shop a good clean and refill with brand new stock! We will reopen again on Tuesday, so be sure to pop in then!

If you haven't made your way out to our new Opportunity for Animals location in Pito-one/Petone, then this is the perfect time to do so!
