There’s been a lot going on this year, but the alloy tig welder has kept me the busiest as of late I’d say! Here’s a few recently completed jobs that have come through the shop.

Starting with some new 4 inch intake piping on Chris’s twin turbo drag Ute, followed with a couple of fuel cells for some interesting builds on the go, aswell as a pair of Nissan Silvia catch cans for two very tidy new builds.

Bit of a late one but here was the last job for 2025. Nathan’s GU patrol came in for a 4 inch stainless snorkel and full side bars and rock sliders, pretty happy with the result and no doubt he will put them to the test 😅

Here’s som**hing for the Jeep lovers! Custom alloy air box with a clear perspex lid and a bonnet entry 4 inch stainless snorkel for this tidy Jeep Gladiator. Snorkel powder coated with a satin black finish to give it that sleek tidy look. The airbox is fitted with a 3 block port for later provisions such as diff breathers.

This is a must have if you’re planning on taking your 4wd out this wet winter! Get in touch if this is som**hing you’re looking to add to your vehicle. 🚙🚙

Nissan FJ20 hot side setup for your Wednesday 🔥

Custom Mild steel manifold, Stainless downpipe and plumb back, Turbosmart Hypergate 45mm with a Pulsar V-band turbo to complete the picture 👌

Finished product👌Was a long way to the end of the road but the Anderson Construction Ford Courier drag ute is all finished and ready for racing.

All painted, fully plumbed and assembled, passed tech inspection, the new Carbonfibre front clip is all mounted and Chris at has finished all the dyno tuning… now it’s all ready to go for masterton this weekend!

Definitely one of the most rewarding jobs to date, looking forward to seeing it perform 🏁

Here’s one of the larger jobs I’ve been doing on the side this year that I haven’t posted about yet.

Chris dropped his beloved Ford courier drag Ute off to us late last year where Chris at handed me the job to sort out a dry sump setup and get it running for the drag season. Well that escalated 😅 we quickly figured out that there was no way it was all gonna fit in the current setup.

I ended up cutting the whole front end off and starting again and how you see it now is how it sits. Full chromoly tube front end from the firewall forward, full strange suspension and steering package, custom arms, custom radiator, fuel tank and dry sump tank infront of the engine, Mechanical kinsler fuel pump, full plumbing on the engine, wheelie bars, shortened diff, bigger wheels, carbon fibre front clip being made, the list goes on. Running a twin turbo Toyota V8 on m**h it’s gonna be pretty cool to see this thing back out there. Thanks to and for the opportunity to do this job, it’s all painted now and back together which I’ll show in the next post…

Pair of Nissan GQ safari swivel hubs I folded and Tig welded recently for a customer. Running hydro steer on his winch truck he needed new steering arms and som**hing to take the abuse. Using the water cut swivel hub kit made it a breeze and looks the part too.

Dirty old cast made it tricky but lots of preheat and slow cool down did the trick. Fair to say they should take some punishment…
