Thank you to everyone who stopped in to the NZ Petrolhead Vintage Market at the Beach Hop last week, especially if you braved the rain and wind on Thursday & Friday!
Special thank you to our fantastic vendor family for rolling with everything the weather and last week threw at us. You guys were amazing, especially our super resilient outdoor stall holders!

The sun is shining, the doors are open & we have a full house today at the NZ Petrolhead Vintage Market at the Beach Hop 🌞 We even have cool neighbours at next doors JCD Customs Pickup Truck show at the Whangamata RSA. Come on down and check out the fantastic wares on offer, grab a coffee & some lunch and stay a while

Retro America are honoured to once again be your hosts for the 2026 NZ Petrolhead Vintage Market at the Beach Hop!
Firstly a huge thank you to our fantastic naming sponsor NZ Petrolhead magazine, you'll be able to grab the latest copy of the mag from the foyer of the main hall during the market
You'll find Retro America in their usual spot in the middle of the main hall and as well as a huge T-Shirt 👕 sale ($39 each!) we'll have our fantastic range of rad men's shirts, cool kids gear and lots of gorgeous dresses 👗 for the gals! Lot's of our beautiful dresses will be on sale and to finish off your outfits we'll also have gorgeous cardigans, handbags👜, a great range of sunglasses🕶️, shoes👠, parasols🌂 and so much more (including fabulous TaylorMade Petticoats right next door). Stop by Retro America and fitted out from top to toe!

We're excited to have Engravely Customs NZ joining the NZ Petrolhead Vintage Market at the Beach Hop for the first time on Saturday, stop in and check out their custom engraving on metal, leather and slate in our outdoor market area
Engravely Customs specialise in derby and points covers, as well as one off pieces for classic cars including custom metal and gas caps. They also do pre and custom engraving on metal items such as gremlin bells, brass coins, key rings, badges etc and engraved slate coasters, platters and plant markers
They'll also be bringing wired headbands lovingly sewn with premium cottons
With a background in design Olivia loves to use her skills to bring uncommon designs to the table, such as rare or vintage vehicle badges that are no longer available
