This weekend there were service awards presented to many St John personnel in wanganui,

The store is very proud to have two members receive awards.

Bev Way who works in The store, helps in the office, and with the cadets received her 45 year bar. And also received a Chancellor commendation for her many years of dedication.

Peter Eaton who works at the store 3 days a week, and also helps sorting books every Monday, and spends a week helping sort and prepare the rooms for the book sale 5 times a year, also received a Chancellor commendation for his services.

These awards are only given to a few select people in New Zealand each year, and are signed off on behalf of the king. So they are very special.

Congratulations to both these members.

Got a great selection of ooshies at the moment, one lovely lady, swapped 4, and then gave us her extra 7..., had nearly 30 different lots in in the 4 hrs we were open, so the collection very different from what's in the photo.

I don't know what is in the basket now it is at the shop, and so much of it got changed yesterday.
