This was absolutely amazing. We drank it with Pepperoni pizza, beautiful match. Big, soft, elegant, fruity and a lovely long finish. That mighty Friday drink!

Apologies for the radio silence! Enjoy this picture of something very few will ever get to enjoy. The smoothest most enjoyable Cab Sav to ever pass my palate. A 2012 magnum of Angus the Bull personally signed by the winemaker and gifted to me 2015 give or take. I kept it for a special share moment with G*i and Ruth on Friday with my Beef in Burgundy cooking. Tony just looked on supping his Label 5 and soda.

It pays to cellar! This 2016 Invivo & Co was just a delight tonight. Beautifully soft cherry laced fruits and a silky palette were just delightful. It would possibly have benefited from 1 more year, but I'm more than happy with the result at 5 years. Beautiful!

So it's been a hot minute! As of Monday I don't work for anyone in the liquor industry so watch this space, I'll be here with a little bit of a vengeance. Meantime here's in my opinion the best kiwi Chardy I have tasted this year at a bargain price, get in there, this is great stuff!

Blown away! $17.99 at Pak 'N Save Silverdale. I wonder if they even know what they have? This is aged 2013 and it's a bloody awesome wine, McLaren Vale Shiraz with lovely hints of chocolate layered in - not peppery if that's your Shiraz leave it in stock for me! I first sold it at a bastard of a wine shop on the North Shore and more recently at the lovely Manly Liquor and they all had to sell it closer to $25 than $20. This is an amazing bargain. I think I'll go back and lay in a dozen for the coming winter. Such a bargain and delicious wine!
