Its still winter but spring is on its way, no time for slacking its time to get the watermelon, sweetcorn, rock melon and honeydew seeds planted or there's gonna be some sad faces come November and December. Trying to get a head start on the sweetcorn by germinating 1500 seedlings to start with and planting the other 8500 straight into the soil in September.

Tomorrow, we will be at Mangawhai Community Market 9am-1pm.

Don't let a shower of rain or 2 put you off coming to see us. As usual we will have all the usual fresh fruit and veg. This week we are running a special on telegraph cucumbers, freshly picked and wrapped today.

We have plenty of sweet naval oranges, mandarins, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage cauliflower, broccoli, big green capsicums, beetroot, bacon and haas advacados as well heaps of other stuff. Come and grab a bargain. Anyone headed up from Auckland, the new road is amazing, makes the journey up or down a breeze.

The weekend is upon us again and this week we have been picking and packing new season "Sweet Kiss Naval Oranges". No need to buy anymore of the imported ones from the supermarket, come see us and grab a bag or two before they're all gone. These are sweet and full of juice, great for eating or juicing.

You will find us on Saturday at Mangawhai Community Market 9am-1pm or
Whangarei Growers Market, 6-10am
Sunday at Tikipunga Market 8-11am if we have enough produce left.

We will also have most of our usual items, tomatoes, fresh picked telegraph cucumbers, broccoli, cabbages, large Hass advacados, bacon advacados, carrots, parsnips, a few bags of our final batch of new Season Agria potatoes, mandarins, beetroot, cauliflower.

Come join us, grab a great quality produce and hopefully a bargain too. No matter the weather, we will be there ready for you.
