I started K’NEKT NZ because I wanted to make it easier for Kiwis to support our own

🤬 > After buying from a . co. nz websites that looked New Zealand-based - only to find it was shipped from Singapore. 🤬
🥴> I then realised how hard it actually is to know who you’re buying from and what you’re actually buying.
😪 > so many amazing small NZ businesses, Māori brands, artists and creatives doing incredible mahi and struggling!
😤 > we are seeing global stores copying and counterfeiting our products, designs and mahi and selling them cheaply making it even harder for us to know whether we are actually supporting our own!!

K’NEKT NZ was created to bring them together in one trusted platform!
connecting Kiwi shoppers with verified New Zealand brands and making it easier to:

The Dream🤩: I want K’NEKT NZ to become more than just a marketplace!!
I want to build a support system for NZ businesses where we can connect, network, collaborate, share opportunities, support one another and grow together.

We’ve just launched our first trial/MVP (just a website trial at the moment while I build my platform) , and I’d love to have you on board!

1) K’NEKT & Go – List & Link |
▶️We list up to 10 of your products on K’NEKT NZ, and customers click “TAKE ME THERE →”
to purchase directly from your own website or online store.
▶️You handle the payment, shipping and fulfilment as normal.

2) Buy on K’NEKT – Sell Through K’NEKT | commission based
▶️Your products are sold directly through the K’NEKT NZ marketplace.
▶️K’NEKT takes the customer payment,
▶️and you store, pack and ship the order directly to the customer.

I'm just like every other solo māmā! .I want to build a better life for my babies. I want to get off the benefit, get out of debt, become independent!

and .... Let's be honest... who's lining up to hire a solo māmā in rural NZ who can only work between 9:30am and 2:30pm around Kura + Kohanga?? I can't be reliable because my life revolves around my babies having 3 of them means 4 times sickness leave 🙄 - letting others down, sends my nevous system into overdrive.

So instead of I'm Creating my own!!

something that fits around my babies now, with the hope that one day it grows big enough that I can be the person giving opportunities to others with time restraints, school hours, or family commitments ❤️

On the flip Side Addiction to online shoping???
I'm not going to lie... I LOVE online shopping!! 😂

I love how easy Temu and SHEIN are to use! . They're convenient, affordable, and too easy! its addictive!

But I also love supporting our own! I love seeing Maori Kākahu! Kowhaiwhai Cups! "made in nz" !! Our Taniko earings!! 😍

The problem is... finding Kiwi businesses online isn't always easy.

Its sad to see Over the past few years more and more Kiwi dollars flow overseas. 🥺 We seen so many of our buisnesses shutting down! ..
I've bought products from .co.nz websites only to discover they were shipped from Singapore! 🤬.
We've all seen our incredible Kiwi artists have their original designs, artwork and ideas copied, mass-produced, and sold on cheap counterfeit products through overseas marketplaces 😡🤡
And we are watching our small businesses work incredibly hard just to be seen.
