marillos. Tamarillos are an important source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Tamarillos are an excellent source of antioxidants because it contains a type of flavonoid known as anthocyanins. Tamarillos also contain carotenoids, lycopene and beta carotene (vitamin A).
