Bilums are multipurpose tool that help us carry our belongings to and from whenever we wanna go. It makes it easier for us to carry things of all kinds small or big, this was something our ancestors used up until our time we still make and carrying our belongings in the garden, market or even in stores nowadays. So we in Morobe and other parts of country have our local mothers weaving bilums and selling it to make money and the demand for bilums now is demanding. As demand is starting to grow more mother especially are developing new styles and techniques as well as new people started showing interest into it. So I want to help my mother's back in the community selling their special skill and help them earning their living.
