We are a family-run business curating the most well-loved delicacies and artisanal products from all over the country. We offer an extensive variety of local food products such as traditional “kakanins”
, pastries, local sausages, cured meats, dried fruits, jams, nuts, coffee, chocolate, and fermented products. Aside from food items, we also offer non-food items including traditional handwoven products, woodcrafts, and other artisanal creations of the highest quality. The formative concept started with the our passion project to document the processes of making traditional delicacies of our hometown, San Miguel, Bulacan, such as Pastillas de Leche and Turrones de Casuy. But after participating in a trade fair which showcased the wide array of the best-tasting regional treats, our passion was stoked into a full-fledged advocacy. It made us realize that each delicacy is deeply rooted in the history and stories of the community it represents. Now, we have created a business centered in promoting the Philippines’ rich culinary heritage and expert craftsmanship to tourists and balikbayans. Our business strengths are anchored in the best management practices and omnichannel approach, combining traditional and digital marketing strategies. This can be attributed to 25 years of experience running our main business, Measurement and Controls Technology Inc., a trading and engineering firm established as one of the leading suppliers and service providers of instrumentation and industrial automation to Petroleum companies such as Petron, Shell, and Phoenix. Part of our business strategy to achieve our mission is to partner with the Department of Tourism (DOT) in promoting the history of native delicacies and success stories of our local artisans. We are also coordinating with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to elevate the quality and brand equity of our partners. Currently, we are supporting the One Town, One Product and Go Lokal programs as channels for sourcing the best local products. In the near future, we strive to be the go-to-store and distributor in Tagaytay and Region 4A for the best Philippine delicacies and crafts. We aspire to become the market leader and soon open new branches in prime tourist destinations all over the Philippines.
