3 years ago, I started thinking of another business. 3 years ago, I found you. 3 years ago, I was willing to learn how to make you. 3 years ago, I never knew that you were going to help me and somehow change my life.

When high school was about to end, sabi ko sa sarili ko na hindi dapat ako maging tambay sa bahay. (dahil nakasanayan ko nang kumita pa lang sa school—tinda ng gummies, mallows, in short, hindi ako sanay na walang pera.) 😆 That time din, nag-start ang braces ko. I was the one paying for my monthly adjustments, pasta, and biteplane, kaya sabi ko, need ko ng pera hahahha. At dahil doon, nabuo si Gantsilyo ni Asli.

I will never forget the first time I launched my first product. The first time I clicked “post,” I was so nervous kasi hindi ko alam kung may bibili ba o wala. Pero ayun! May bumili agad, and that gave me the confidence to keep going until I reached this point.

3 years ka na, gantsilyo ni asli. 🤍 And I’ll always be proud of how these beautiful things turned out.

To more years to come. 🥂

first time being an instructor… kinda nervous. 🥹

my heart is so full. being called an instructor as a crocheter was never on my bingo card, but it was always one of my dreams. and there she is—even scared, even full of doubts—she still chose to stand in front of everyone. i’m so proud of you, asli. 🤍

thank you, Primeo Skyview - Angono, for giving us the opportunity to be instructors and for allowing us to share who and what gantsilyo ni asli is all about.

thank you to fem, my co-instructor, for always lending a hand whenever i needed it.

thank you to my boyfriend, ced. you always lift me up whenever self-doubt starts creeping in. even after the event, you were there—listening to my thoughts, encouraging me, and reminding me that i did well and that i can do even better next time. i know i didn’t show my full potential this time ‘cause i was scared.

and of course, thank you to ced’s friends, who are now also my friends. thank you for supporting me and believing in me.

to my parents, thank you for always guiding me and constantly praying for my success in this event.
