Usong uso ang ubo ngayon pero tama ba yung iniinom mong gamot para sa ubo mo?

‼️ Basahin hanggang dulo.

Ano nga ba ang dapat inumin para sa ibat-ibang klase ng ubo?

Alamin muna natin ang pag kakaiba iba ng mga gamot tulad na lamang ng antitussive, mucolytic at expectorant.

Ang mga ibibigay kong halimbawa ay pwede para sa mga bata at matatanda.

Antitussive (Tuyong ubo)
* Kailan Ginagamit: Para sa tuyong ubo (dry cough) na walang plema, lalo na kung nakakaabala sa pagtulog o pang-araw-araw na gawain.
* Hindi ito para sa ubo na may plema (productive cough) dahil kailangan mong umubo para mailabas ang plema. Hindi rin ito gamot sa mismong sakit, kundi para lang sa sintomas ng ubo.
* Halimbawa : Dextromethorphan (Dm) , butamirate citrate

Mucolytic (Ubong may plema)
* Ito ay tinatawag ding "pampatunaw ng plema." upang mas madali itong maiubo at mailabas.
* Ginagamit ito para sa mga sakit na may kasamang matigas o makapal na plema, gaya ng brongkitis, COPD, at sipon.
* Halimbawa : Ambroxol, Carbocisteine, Acetylcysteine

Expectorant (Panlabas ng plema)
* Ang expectorant ay nagdadagdag ng tubig sa mucus, kaya't ito'y lumalabnaw at hindi na gaanong malagkit at makapit.
* Mas Madaling ubuhin: Dahil malabnaw na ang plema, mas madali mo itong maubo (expectorate) at mailabas sa katawan.
* Kapag mayroon kang "productive" o "wet cough" na may makapal na plema na mahirap ilabas.
* Para maalis ang barado sa dibdib (chest congestion).
* Halimbawa: Guafenesin

Para naman kay Lagundi capsule or syrup (anti cough/ anti asthma) pinipigilan nito ang pag ubo (due to common colds, flu, and moderate acute bronchitis) at pinapagaan niya ang pag hinga sa pamanagitan ng pag papalabnaw sa plema para madaling mailabas.
