“We believe that it is disobedience not to “disciple,” in the light of Christ’s Mediatorial authority (Matt.28:18-20). However, Christ Himself in His Word should dictate what He means by discipleship and not our own man-centered desires or even church anxieties; not even “what works” should be our core guiding light. The Word, properly interpreted and applied, should. It is indeed God’s Word that creates, cultivates, and coherently unites God’s People. It should drive every agenda of the church! The church leaders should really bow down to the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ in His Word. Thus, our confidence lies when the Word is faithfully preached and truthfully applied to all aspects of the church.”
