Jame Wanders An engineer wandering around while wondering about life đŸ‡”đŸ‡đŸ‡ŠđŸ‡ș

I love seeing my savings and investments grow
but I also don’t want to be so busy preparing for the future that I forget to enjoy the present. đŸŒ±

Maybe it’s not save OR enjoy life.

Maybe it’s learning how to responsibly do both. 💭

Because money can grow, but some opportunities have an expiry date.

So I was wondering

What’s something you spent money on that you’ll NEVER regret? A trip? A concert? Family? A hobby? An experience?

Tell me yours. đŸ€

Are we ever actually “ready” to have kids? 💭

Start a family young or enjoy life first and start later — both seem to have their pros and cons.

But someone told me: “You’ll never really be completely prepared.”

Parents, I want to hear from you: Did you feel ready? And would you choose the same timing again? đŸ€

I’ve realised that some of the people I enjoy spending time with the most are way older than me. đŸ˜‚đŸ€

There’s something special about listening to someone who has already lived through chapters of life you’re only just beginning.

Their careers. Relationships. Mistakes. Regrets. Lessons. And sometimes the things they wish they hadn’t worried so much about.

Bar hopping has never really been my thing. You’re more likely to find me at church, volunteering, at a community event
or having a two-hour conversation with someone old enough to be my parent. 😂

And I actually love that.

Sometimes, the people in a completely different stage of life are the ones who teach us the most. đŸŒ±

So I was wondering
 💭

Do you have a friend who’s significantly older or younger than you? What’s something they’ve taught you that you’ll never forget?

I’d love to read your stories. đŸ€

Have you ever looked at someone your age and thought

“Wait
am I behind in life?” 😭

Someone’s getting married. Someone bought a house. Someone got promoted. Someone’s travelling the world.

Meanwhile, you’re just trying to figure out what to have for dinner. 😂

I’m slowly learning that maybe progress isn’t about reaching the same milestones as everyone else, at the same age.

Maybe a better question is:

“Am I moving towards a life that I actually want?” đŸŒ±

So I was wondering
 💭

What’s something you thought you would’ve achieved by your age, but haven’t yet?

And are you still chasing it
or did you realise you want something different now?

Share yours below. I have a feeling we’re all on very different timelines. đŸ€

I never thought l'd become a cat person... until Marmalade.

The sweetest little guy. Even my partner didn't want a cat at first... until Marmalade climbed onto him and gave him cuddles. We ended up wanting to adopt him the day after we visited him in foster care. Best decision ever

Not every job has to be your dream job. 💭

When I first moved to Australia, I didn’t immediately work as an engineer.

I cleaned. I babysat. I distributed flyers. I took the opportunities available to me while I was figuring things out.

Eventually, my path led me to engineering — but looking back, every job served a purpose at that stage of my life.

Some gave me income when I needed it.
Some taught me independence.
Some taught me humility.
And some opened doors to the next chapter. đŸŒ±

Maybe work doesn’t always have to be your passion. Maybe sometimes, it’s simply one part of the life you’re trying to build.

So I was wondering

Have you ever worked a job that wasn’t part of your original plan? What did it teach you?

No job-shaming here. I’d genuinely love to hear your stories. đŸ€

At what age do you actually start feeling like an adult?

I have a job. I pay bills. I make my own decisions. I have responsibilities.

On paper: very adult.

In reality: “Wait
 ako yung adult dito?”

Growing up, I thought adults had everything figured out. Now I’m starting to realise
maybe we’re all just figuring things out as we go.

So I was wondering

How old are you, and do you actually feel like an adult yet?

Bonus question: What was your “adult na talaga ako” moment?

I want to hear yours in the comments!

Working abroad = mayaman na agad? 😂💾

I love being able to help, give back, and treat the people I love when I can. Pero living abroad also comes with its own bills, responsibilities, savings goals, and a future you’re trying to build.

So I was wondering
 💭

How do you stay generous without forgetting to build your own future?

Sa mga Pinoy living or working abroad — do you ever feel pressure to give more simply because you’re abroad?

And the harder question
how do you set boundaries without feeling guilty? đŸ„č

Share your experience below. I genuinely want to hear how other people navigate this. đŸ€

Spider-man: Brand New Day reminded me of one of my favourite songs, Superman by Five for Fighting.

Na-realise ko na being a hero has never been about being invincible. It’s about carrying burdens that no one else sees, making tough choices, and still choosing to do the right thing.

Maybe that’s what “Brand New Day” really means.

Hindi dahil biglang magiging okay ang lahat overnight, but because every new day gives us another chance to stand back up. To keep going after disappointment. To keep believing after setbacks. To keep choosing hope, even when it’s hard.

That’s what makes Peter Parker so relatable. Wala naman siyang perfect na buhay. He loses, he struggles, he questions himself but he never stops trying. And I think that’s what makes him a hero.

I guess we all have our own brand new day. We don’t need superpowers to be strong. Sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is wake up, face another day, and keep moving forward.

💯 definitely a must watch!!!

Sometimes the plan that didn’t work out, leads you somewhere you never expected.

What’s something you were once devastated about, but you’re actually grateful didn’t work out now?
