After a lot of back and forth with ChatGPT and countless rounds of trial and error, I finally got a second-hand Mitsubishi PLC to communicate with a second-hand Weinview HMI—even though they’re from different brands.

Along the way, I learned a lot about industrial communication, PLC-HMI integration, and communication protocols. This may seem like a small achievement, but for me it’s a huge milestone.

I hope this is the first of many milestones as I continue my journey toward becoming an Automation and Robotics Engineer and building bigger, more advanced projects in the future.
