I know, I know. PE Foam makes everything sound like a Jelly Epoch. But somehow, the Q1 took on a different sound signature. It sounds fuller and a little clackier. In person, it sounds louder and quite comparable to a pill hitting the roulette wheel.

Been a while since I posted. But like it is do, we are be back but yet at it again. With a personal build this time.

I know the Q1 is a little flawed out of the box, but it just needs a little force to break its boundaries.

Sound test will be on a separate post because I need to "milk" the extra content (pun intended)

Conclusion: Great "entry" level 75% board if you're willing to put in the work. If it's too technical, or you don't have time for it, send it over my way. I can work on any keyboard as long as it's hotswappable.

My first client build.

Honestly, I had more fun with this than my own builds. He wanted a board with a "k**b" so we decided on the LK67.

Overall a good starter board, despite not having a gasket mount system. She's a little old, but she can definitely sing.

Sound test is a little scuffed because of the camera quality polmao (Phone's front camera quality is terrible)

HolyTom spring and stem + JWK T1 top and bottom housing = a heavy linear?

Not exactly, but it does feel like a really heavy linear switch. The tactility is gone mid travel, but you'll feel a sudden bump after the key stroke. Sound signature sounds really clacky, because of the HolyTom's "long boi" pole bottoming out too soon.

If anyone asks what this Frankenswitch is, I'm naming it the "HolyWick"

Kidding aside, I've just now finalized my schedule, and it seems that I have too much free time to not be doing something. So, I've decided to help out the community by providing keyboard modding services.

I might encounter some frequent questions, so I'll answer them now.

Q1: Do you give discounts?
A: Yes, I will offer discounts on special occasions.

Q2: Do you do commissioned builds?
A: I will start accepting commissions once I have enough funding.

Q3: Do you offer services on non hotswap boards?
A: At the moment, no. But I will eventually expand into soldered PCBs, but of course the rate would be higher.

Q4: Do you do rushed orders?
A: Yes, but I will tell you upfront that it will cost extra.

Q5: Why should I trust you with modding my keyboard?
