Begonia thelmae 🌿

A beautiful miniature species from Brazil with a creeping, trailing growth habit. Its small leaves are covered in fine hairs, giving them a soft textured look, while the foliage can show an almost glittery, iridescent shine when the light hits at the right angle. ✨

In a terrarium or vivarium build, Begonia thelmae adds texture, depth, and movement to the hardscape. Its creeping stems can trail over cork, wood, and backgrounds, helping soften harsh surfaces and create that lush, established rainforest look. Because it stays relatively small, it works especially well in detailed planted builds where you want greenery without overwhelming the entire setup. 🌿

The magic of Begonia lichenora really shows when the light hits it just right ✨ Its tiny leaves can reveal a subtle iridescent sheen, shifting from deep green to metallic blue-green tones depending on the angle and lighting.

It’s the kind of miniature Begonia that rewards a closer look—quiet, unusual, and made for collectors who appreciate fine details. 🌿
