Our community is a unique group of indigenous people living in the mountains of Kulaman, that does weaving to support their daily needs. The story of this community of weavers is just as stereotypical tale as “isolated people struggling to survive”. But with them the potential and opportunity lies. This community of weavers has the capability to preserve some of the vital cultural practice of some of the ethnic tribes here in the Philippines. This Kulaman weavers are in beg of tasting a social change and economic success in their respective lives. With their set of skills along with a hardworking body they are able to produce a stiff and good quality of abaca cloth. With this ETHNIKO FILIPINO as an enterprise capitalized on the skills they have. As a social enterprise the business is very fortunate to be partner with the Lagonglong weavers in doing business.
