Five years ago, amidst the uncertainty and silence of the global pandemic, a small seed of faith was planted by the Franciscan Seminarians. Born from a vision to keep the light of Christ burning in our homes, the San Damiano Religious Store opened its doors to serve the community.
What began as a mission to provide spiritual essentials to the parishioners of St. James the Apostle and our neighboring parishes has grown into a beloved sanctuary for religious items and devotionals.
To the parishioners of St. James the Apostle: thank you for walking this journey with us.
We also wish to extend our deepest gratitude to our Parish Priests of St. James the Apostle by allowing the store to be located within the convent, they provided a physical space for grace and a central home where parishioners could find comfort, sacramentals, and hope during a difficult time.
