A remarkable event is not created on the day itself, it is prepared for long before the first guest arrives.
As a professional event host, one of the things I make sure to do is prepare hard copies of the program flow for every key supplier and team involved, clearly indicating who owns each part of the program.
I also provide a color-coded legend so everyone can immediately identify their responsibilities. And because we know that not every area of a venue has perfect lighting, I add highlighters to make important details easier to spot, even when it gets dark in their assigned area. 📝💡
For me, preparation is more than simply following a program.
It means foreseeing possibilities, imagining what could happen next, and thinking ahead, not only for myself, but also for the benefit of my co-suppliers.
When everyone knows what is happening, when they need to move, and how their role connects with everyone else's, we create a smoother and more coordinated experience.
Because behind every event is a client who wished for it, prayed for it, worked hard for it, and saved money for it. ❤️
