FeastO, 𝕾𝖆𝖎𝖓𝖙 𝕵𝖔𝖘𝖊𝖕𝖍, humble carpenter of Nazareth, you who turned daily labor into a silent hymn of obedience, teach us to listen for God’s will in all we do.

Most faithful guardian, you protected your spouse Mary, our Queen and Mother, with a heart of pure devotion. Watch over us now with that same fatherly care. We ask you, who held the Savior in your arms, to take us by the hand and lead us ever closer to your Son, Jesus.

By your example of holy work and quiet faith, guide our souls to the peace of Christ.

Ang Viernes Dolores o Biyernes ng Hapis sa tagalog ay ginaganap araw ng biyernes bago ang linggo ng palaspas.
Ito ay pag-alaala at paggunita ng mga kristiyano sa Pitong Sakit (Hapis) ng Mahal na Birhen Maria sa mga parokya pinaparangalan nila ang Imahe ng mahal na birhen ng hapis kung saan nagkakaroon ng mga misa, pabasa ng pasyon mahal, prusisyon at mga pagninilay sa hapis ng mahal na birhen.

Ang Pitong Hapis ay mga pangyayari sa buhay ng Mahal na Birheng Maria at isang kilalang debosyon. Madalas din itong maging paksa sa mga likhang- sining. Ugali na ng mga Katoliko ang magdasal araw-araw ng isang Aba Ginoong Maria para sa bawat Hapis.

Ang Pitong Hapis ng Mahal na Birhen ay Ito:
1. Ang Hula ni Propeta Simeon na ang isang balaraw ay tatagos sa puso ni Maria.
2. Ang Pagtakas Patungong Ehipto ng Banal na Mag-Anak.
3. Ang Pagkawala ni Jesus sa Templo.
4. Ang Pagkasalubong ni Jesus at Maria sa Daan ng Krus.
5. Ang Pagkamatay ni Hesus sa Krus, kung saan ang kanyang Ina'y nakatayo sa paanan ng Krus.
6. Ang Pagbababa Mula sa Krus kay Hesus, kung saan kinalong ni Maria ang bangkay ni Hesus.
7. Ang Paglilibing kay Hesus.

O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.

O Saint Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord, so that having experienced here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.

O Saint Joseph, I never weary of contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Hold Him close in my name and kiss His fine head from me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for me.

Remember, O most pure spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, my great protector, Saint Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection, or implored your aid without obtaining relief.
