What patterns have you been repeating that may be producing the same results?

Sometimes, growth begins with simply being honest enough to recognize the pattern.

ONE BETRAYAL SHOULD HAVE BEEN ENOUGH.

But it happened again.

After all the tears.
After all the promises.
After all the chances given.
After believing that this time would be different...

He did it again.

And the hardest part wasn't just being betrayed.

It was realizing that the first time had already been a warning—a warning that was ignored.

Some choices don't end when we make them.
We live with their consequences long after.

The Weight of Wrong Choices is a deeply personal story about disobedience, painful consequences, broken trust, and the God who can still bring healing from the scars we've carried.

SAYING “NO” CAN BE ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS TO DO.

We say YES when we really want to say NO.

Yes because we're afraid of disappointing people.
Yes because we feel guilty.
Yes because we want to keep the peace.
Yes because we're afraid of what others might think.

And sometimes, that constant YES slowly costs us our peace, boundaries, values, and even our obedience to God.

But here's the truth:

Saying NO doesn't make you selfish.

Sometimes, saying NO is an act of courage.

You don't have to say YES to everyone to be a good person.

Learn when to say YES—and when you need the courage to say NO.

God always gives us warnings.

Sometimes they come through a quiet conviction. Sometimes through circumstances we cannot ignore. Sometimes through people who speak truth into our lives.

But there are moments when we choose what we want instead of what God is showing us.

I know because I lived it.

The Weight of Wrong Choices is my true story of what happened when I chose my own way instead of stopping, praying, and seeking God's wisdom—and the painful consequences that followed.

But my story doesn't end with the consequences.

It is also a story of God's grace, restoration, and learning to trust Him again.

Have you ever looked back and realized God was warning you, but you chose not to listen?

I wish I could go back and tell my younger self one thing:

Seek God first.

There were warning signs I chose to overlook. I thought love would be enough. I followed my feelings instead of stopping to seek God's direction.

I didn't know then how much those choices would affect the years that followed.

But I've also learned that our wrong choices don't have to be the end of our story.

God can meet us in the middle of our brokenness. His grace can find us even in places we wish we had never entered.

The Weight of Wrong Choices is my true story of disobedience, painful consequences, betrayal, and discovering God's grace in the aftermath.

If you've ever looked back at a decision and wished you had chosen differently, perhaps my story will speak to you.

Sometimes we don't realize the weight of a decision until we're already living with its consequences.

I know because I've been there.

I made a life-changing choice without seeking God the way I should have. I overlooked warning signs, followed my feelings, and eventually faced consequences I never imagined. There were seasons of betrayal, broken trust, anger, and moments when I wanted to give up.

But God met me in that brokenness.

The Weight of Wrong Choices is my true story of disobedience, painful consequences, betrayal, prayer, and discovering that God's grace can still meet us in the middle of our mess.

If you've ever made a choice you later wished you had brought to God first, perhaps my story will speak to you.

Sometimes we don't see the weight of a choice when we're making it.

We see what we want. We follow our feelings. We overlook the warning signs because we hope everything will eventually work out.

I've learned this personally.

There was a time when I made a life-changing decision without first seeking God the way I should have. The consequences became part of a painful chapter of my life—but they also became part of a story where I experienced God's grace in ways I never expected.

I wrote about that journey in my true story, The Weight of Wrong Choices.

If you've ever made a decision you later wished you had brought to God first, perhaps my story will speak to you.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

A gentle reminder before you make your next decision.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

The Weight of Wrong Choices is more than a book I wrote. It is my true story—a personal reflection on choices I made, the consequences I had to face, and what God taught me through it all.

I’m sharing it in the hope that someone who is facing a difficult decision, carrying regret, or simply trying to understand the consequences of their choices might find encouragement in my story.

We don't always see the consequences of a choice when we make it.

Sometimes a wrong choice begins with a desire we refuse to surrender, a compromise we convince ourselves is harmless, or a decision we make without seeking God.

That is why we need more than our own understanding. We need God's wisdom.

Our choices matter.

And when we get it wrong, God's grace does not leave us there. He calls us to turn back, learn from our mistakes, and walk in a different direction.

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death." — Proverbs 14:12

The Weight of Wrong Choices is a true story about choices, consequences, and the lessons that come when we learn that not every path we want is the path God has for us.
