Rowilda's Loomweaving started operation in 1989 with four (4) employees and a meager capital of Php8,000.00. Catering to the needs of Region 1 and Baguio City, Mr. Dominico Panela, the owner/manager, availed of the Department of Trade and Industry's (DTI) Mic

ro-Enterprise Development Program - Countrywide Development Fund (MECP-CDF) and Non-Government Organization - Macro Credit Program) NGO-MCP II) Financing Programs. From 1993 to 1997, Rowilda's Loomweaving availed a total of Php340,000.00 from the DTI's financing programs to augment its meager capital. Participation in DTI-sponsored /coordinated trade fairs further enhanced Rowilda's Loomweaving statue as one of the pillars of Abel-Iloko production. Today, Rowilda's Loomweaving has a paid-up capital of Php1.5M with total assets of Php3.0M. Annual gross sales reach Php1.4M and from the original staff of four (4), present employment is 34. In 2000 alone, Rowilda's Loomweaving grossed Php1.2M from DTI-sponsored/coordinated trade fairs. Additional product lines now include Ikat, Placemats, Table Runners, Dress Materials, Pillow Cases, Blankets, Bathrobes, and Hand Towels. What are you waiting for?
