Vitamin D3 may slow biological aging. 🧬 At least that’s what a new study says. 👇
The trial found that taking 2,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily for 4 years significantly reduced telomere shortening, a key marker of biological aging and cell health. Participants who supplemented with vitamin D had slower telomere attrition compared to those taking a placebo, suggesting that daily vitamin D may help protect against cellular aging. Omega-3 fatty acids, on the other hand, showed no significant effect. These findings highlight a potential role for vitamin D in supporting long-term cellular resilience.
