Olive Squalane

Olive Squalane is a fully hydrogenated, stable form of squalene obtained from olive oil (Olea europaea). Unlike natural squalene, squalane resists oxidation and has a long shelf life. It’s a lightweight, non-greasy emollient widely used in cosmetic and personal care formulations as a moisturizer, skin- replenishing agent, and carrier oil.
It is non-comedogenic. Deeply moisturizing, restores skin barrier, helps smooth fine lines, conditions & softens hair and protects it against breakage & moisture loss.
Applications:
Can be used on its own or added in cosmetic formulations like facial serums and oils, moisturizers, creams and lotions, body oils and balms, hair serums, conditioners and other styling products, makeup removers and cleansing oils, carrier oil for lipids, actives and fragrances, tattoo aftercare and post-procedure skincare.
Solubility:
Insoluble in water, soluble in oils, lipids and most organic solvents. Suitable for oil-phase incorporation in emulsions
