One year ago, we set out to build a pickup that could keep up with the intensity, precision, and musicality of Jam Bumanlag 's playing. What started as a vision quickly became months of collaboration, prototyping, testing, revisions, and countless conversations about tone.

The goal was never just to create a high-output pickup. It had to be aggressive without becoming muddy, powerful without losing clarity, and responsive enough to capture every nuance of Jam's playing style.

The result was the Montances KAG OVERWOUND, our first-ever artist signature pickup.

As we approach the first anniversary of the KAG, we are looking back at the story behind the collaboration and the people who helped make it possible.
