VERY UNHEALTHY AIR QUALITY RECORDED IN DAVAO CITY😷
As of 12:00 PM today, September 8, 2026, the Davao City Air Quality Index (Calinan Station) recorded PM 10 at FAIR and PM 2.5 at VERY UNHEALTHY.
The Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) advises the public to minimize prolonged outdoor activities, particularly in areas visibly affected by haze. Members of sensitive groups, as well as individuals with heart or respiratory illnesses such as asthma, are strongly advised to stay indoors and rest as much as possible.
The public is also urged to avoid unnecessary travel to help reduce vehicle emissions, and to wear a well-fitting mask—preferably an N95 or equivalent—when going outdoors in areas with noticeable haze.
