only 1 sin that is unforgivable

not asking for forgiveness.. or as theologians termed as denying the holy spirit or blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. We translate it in a Street level of understanding that is "YOU ARE UNFORGIVABLE IF YOU DID NOT OR DO NOT ASK TO BE FORGIVEN".

best example is..

su***de (sin not yet consummated or completed [frustrated murder aka attempt of taking your life]) is not yet a sin of murder until you really die, and if the attempt succeeded, then it is murder of self, the sin is recorded, and you have no way to ask for forgiveness (not your siblings, nor your children, nor your parents, nor yours pastors/priests, can ask for forgiveness in your behalf), we bear our own sins, thus cannot be forgiven.

another example is..

if you think and believe that killing others (specially those of not the same religion), bowing to idols (cellphones), stealing and pocketing people's money, etc.. is not a sin then how can you be forgiven for something that you yourself do not accept as a sin.. but the irony is.. to you it is not a sin, but to God it is (according to His word - the bible)

last example we can think of is..
this.. blasphemy, we already know that killing is a sin, stealing (eq. from the people's taxes) is a sin, bowing our selves to idols(ex. a flat shiny rectangular object we carry all the time) is a sin (our eyes fixated 24/7 the moment we wake up untill we close our eyes to sleep, forgetting God, forgetting to thank Him, forgetting to ask for forgiveness, forgetting to pray), but we still do it anyway, and may repent now but do it again and again in an endless cycle or later refuses (since we adopted it as our new normal or by your pride as to what happened to lucifer) much more never repent and never ask for forgiveness, thus condemns us to be unforgivable.

so even if you accept christ as your saviour, you go to church everyday, pray every hour, offer all your belongings to God's work, but you do not ask for forgiveness from all of your sins, then your efforts are not enough, since the real acceptance of Christ is recognizing your sins based on His words then accepting that you sinned, acknowledging, then pray thru Jesus Christ, ask forgiveness directly to God and be forgiven, then now you can follow Him and support his work in this world..

A Warning.. there is this invisible timeline (the closing of probation) for those who are still living.. and there is this invisible act that prevents us from asking forgiveness, called "accident".

thus comes the verse "pray without ceasing".. what ever you do, wherever, whenever, at all times, connect to God thru prayer..

to us... the harshness and sadness of this world are made by us humans.. we set taxes, rent, setting hierarchical order thru exploiting education systems, destruction of nature covered by the notion of progress, our pride, our nature to surpass our own achievements, our expectations.. us... we are played by satan and his fallen angels.. he wants us to focus on progress.. forget prayer.. be mesmerized by the wonders of outerspace.. robots.. online shopping.. reels.. shortvids.. ai.. cellphones(biggest distraction of all time) to mislead us away from what is natural and what we should have been doing for God (not just going to church since going to church is not for God, it is actually for us, to renew our forgetful minds to the word of God)..

to us, we are here in this world to... enjoy the world (thru life). thank God (thru prayer) for the chance of us having been able to enjoy the world... share to others (thru our reach) what we understand and gain from our belief and hope that it will be a blessing to others..

we share coz we really care..

you are here in this world for a reason, that is, "to live, experience the world, and thank God for it"

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

The soul is you, a living person, with unique experiences, unique insight, unique perspective of the world, a one of a kind existence.

“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

So how can you lose your soul?
A living Dead..

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,”

Be this a reminder that, no matter how much money, knowledge and information we gain from this world but we do not act our part, we do not live the path of Jesus Christ, then our efforts are useless.

so, Live.. though in the midst of this dark world, be a candle of hope that reflects the light of heaven unto others.

IN SEARCH OF PROPER EDUCATION---1 Revelation 22:20, 21. He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. IN 1862, "a church member wrote James White asking if it was "'right and consistent for us who believe with all our hearts in the immediate coming of the Lord, to seek, to give our children an education? James White replied, "that the fact that Christ is very soon coming is no reason why the mind should not be improved. A well-disciplined and informed mind can best receive and cherish the sublime truths of the Second Advent."' With that statement he set the stage for the development of an Adventist system of schooling. God wants us to develop all of our talents as we wait Jesus to return. The Adventist Church established it's first school in 1872, . . .and did not have a widespread elementary system until nearly 1900" (George R. Knight). We believe in the immediate return of our Lord Jesus Christ. But, Jesus said, "Occupy till I come." So, He called His ten servants & delivered them ten pounds (KJV), or "ten minas" (NT of GI) or $ 2,000 each of them to invest (Luke 19:13). TLB. Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, "Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world" (Matthew 25:34). And He said, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord" (Matt.25:21).

EDUCATION IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS Acts 21:37. Can you speak Greek? WHAT if all days are days of Pentecost? "And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance"(Acts 2:4). For example: Peter with the eleven disciples of Jesus, they did preach at Jerusalem & all were amazed (verse 12) because they spoke with various languages. Why is in need to earn more degrees when there is the Holy Spirit that speaks to you while delivering a sermon or engaging in the canvassing work? Most of us didn't pursue further studies because our directors told us so, & it works great wonders with the Holy Spirit. "Adventism's educational ideas didn't arise in a vacuum. We can always, even today, learn from the larger culture as we evaluate traditions and practices from the perspective of the biblical worldview"(George R. Knight). Now, schooling is affordable, & practical as for himself in health care, mental development, as well as spiritual, social, physical, & material things increase as providence by God for his needs. "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you"(Matthew 6:33).

RETROSPECT ON ADVENTISM IN TIMES OF WAR Matthew 5:44. But I say to you, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you." A TRUE Christian has the character of our Lord Jesus Christ. The more than fifty million martyrs during the "Dark Ages" in 538 A.D.-1798 had this kind of character; they followed precisely Jesus' words. But, this is only possible when the Holy Spirit dwells within your heart (Mark 10:27); God taught you to love one another (1 Thes.4:8,9), & then "you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise" (Ephesians 1:13). "In addition, there circulated stories of the many young Adventists around the world who had been imprisoned and even at times martyred for their refusal to bear arms or work on Sabbath. And if that wasn't enough there was the ubiquitous medic Desmond T. Doss who received the Medal of Honor for having saved the lives of at least 75 wounded men in one battle in Okinawa"(George R. Knight). For your information, "Medical Cadet Corps, sponsored by Adventist colleges and academies that specifically prepared Adventists to fill noncombatant roles when drafted"(ibid). We appreciated the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with the special pastors assigned that attended the noncombatant rights for members drafted in the army during wars. Thank you. Praise the Lord!

ADVENTISM IN TIME OF WAR---5 Matthew 12:12. . . "Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath." FOR the sake of the heartfelt feeling of mercy to animals or mankind that need helps to save their lives, we're to do it even on Sabbath day. "On July 4, 1864, . . .the draft law stating that only those "'conscientiously opposed to bearing arms"' could be exempted by paying the fee. The General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventists went on record as being a noncombatant denomination. On August 3 the state of Michigan granted the new denomination noncombatant status. Other states soon followed. Then the church sent J. N. Andrews with letters from the various state governors to apply for noncombatant status from the federal government in Washington, D.C. Thus it was that in September 1864 the United States government recognized Adventism as a noncombatant church. . . .If its members did get drafted they would not have to bear arms or kill enemies. . . .the noncombatant could serve as medics both on the battlefront and in hospitals. Adventists were happy with that arrangement, since it freed them from taking the lives of others and it was lawful to do good to others on the Sabbath. From that time forward the noncombatant medic role became the standard for Seventh-day Adventist draftees. . . .God leads His people not merely in things strictly spiritual, but also in their dealings with issues related specifically to this world" (George R. Knight). "If you keep the Sabbath holy, not having your own fun and business on that day, but enjoying the Sabbath and speaking of it with delight as the Lord's holy day, and honoring the Lord in what you do, not following your own desires and pleasures, nor talking idly---then the Lord will be your delight, and I will see to it that you ride high, and get your full share of the blessings I promised to Jacob," Israel (Gen.32:28) "your father" (Isaiah 58:13). Amen & amen.

ADVENTISM IN TIME OF WAR---4 Acts 5:29. But Peter and the other apostles answered and said, "We ought to obey God rather than men." WHEN Christians have had a conflict in commands between God and earthly government, such were their words & conclusions as of Peter & other apostles. They were as pacifists who strongly & actively opposed conflict & war in 1862. But later, our institutions trained their students to be in the medical corps of the military as rescuers of the wounded soldiers. It happened in many wars that they're heroes in saving the lives of wounded soldiers. Some Adventists were like Joshua, Gideon, & David fighting valiantly to defend their rights & with God's people to obtain peace. God helped them as He'd promised as long as they kept His laws & statutes; He did help Abraham against the kidnappers of Lot (Genesis 14:14-16); the Lord said, "because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws" (Gen. 26:5). KJV.

ADVENTISM IN TIME OF WAR---3 Romans 13:1, 2. Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment of themselves. CHRISTIANS are to obey the government. "But what, we ask again, should we do if God's appointed agency (the government) tells us to perform things that put us in a position of disobeying some of God's other teachings? That was the question troubling the Adventists during the American Civil War---the first war they had had to face as a church. James White's August 12, 1862, article in the Review stirred up" many. On August 26, he posted, "'Several brethren refer to our remarks. . . .This is no time for Christians gentle men to give way to feelings of prejudice, and virtually charge us with Sabbath-breaking and murder. . . .If any of you are drafted, and choose to have a clinch with Uncle Sam rather than obey, you can try it. We shall not contend with you, lest some of you nonresistants get up a little war before you are called upon to fight for your country"' (George R. Knight). Adventist schools in college train students as paramedics or for to rescue wounded soldiers be applied first aid & carry them safe on stretchers. So, the Sabbath is regarded by doing good on the Sabbath day by saving lives. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Phil.4:13).

ADVENTISM IN TIME OF WAR---2 Matthew 22:21. . . ."Give it to Caesar if it is his, and give God everything that belongs to God." TLB. THE true Christians like the "Adventists could not volunteer for military service because such an act would place them in a position in which they made a choice to break at least two of the Ten Commandments. As Christians we are citizens of two kingdoms," so therefore, we must be faithful to both; "Adventists are loyal citizens." But, "we can't volunteer because that would place them where they chose to break God's law. But if they were drafted, the breaking of the law became the government's responsibility, and Adventists should submit to taking up arms and killing even on the Sabbath day." You should contemplate seriously, & pray incessantly for the Holy Spirit to guide you & give you an inner strength to stand on the principles, & to tell your commander about you to keep your Sabbath & be in the medical corps. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. . . ." (James 1:5).
