But let's face it; branded perfumes are really expensive. Good thing there's an alternative called tester perfumes. The reason for making them is to allow retailers to demonstrate their product to the consumers (for promotional purposes). They are ("technically") not made to be sold to the public that's why you can find them a lot cheaper than the actual cost of the fragrance. They have the same scent and the same staying power like the ones sold at commercial stores. The main difference is the box or packaging as some don't come in fancy wrappings, compared to the standard retail packaging. The box may be white or brown and the word TESTER may or may not be written on the bottle. Nevertheless, you will get the same quality perfume without having to spend much; hence, testers are worth every cent. So if you'd like to save money on a bottle of fragrance, consider purchasing the tester version of your favorite brand - at a low price, but not low quality! :)
