📢 Call for Application!

The DATEC–Teachers and Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative is now accepting applications for vacant positions:

• Board of Director – 5 Vacancies
• Audit Committee – 2 Vacancies
• Election Committee – 3 Vacancies

1. BOARD OF DIRECTORS

A. Qualifications
1. Must be a regular member of the cooperative for at least two (2) years.
2. Must be a member in good standing (MIGS).
3. Must attend the trainings required by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA).
4. Must be willing to serve the cooperative.
5. Must not have any conflicting interest with the business of the cooperative.
6. Must possess all the qualifications and none of the disqualifications.

B. Disqualifications
1. Officers and employees of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and elected government officials.
2. Having conflicting interest with the business of the cooperative.
3. Being a full-time employee of the cooperative.
4. Persons who have been convicted judicially or administratively of an offense involving moral turpitude or have been declared insolvent, spendthrift, or incapacitated to contract.
5. Directors who have been absent for more than 50% of the regular board meetings during their incumbency. This disqualification shall apply for purposes of the board of directors succeeding election.

2. AUDIT COMMITTEE MEMBER
A. Qualifications
1. Must be a regular member of the cooperative for at least one (1) year.
2. Must be a member in good standing for one (1) year prior to the election.
3. Graduate of a 4-year degree preferably in accounting or with accounting units.
4. Willing to serve the cooperative.
5. Must possess all the qualifications and none of the disqualifications.

B. Disqualifications
1. Officer or employees of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and elected government officials.
2. Having conflicting interest with the cooperative business.
3. Person who have been convicted judicially or administratively of an offense involving moral turpitude or judicially declared insolvent, spendthrift or incapacitated of contract.

3. ELECTION COMMITTEE MEMBER
A. Qualifications
1. Must be a regular member of the Cooperative for at least one (1) year.
2. Must be a member in good standing.
3. Must be a college graduate.
4. Must willing to serve the cooperative.
5. Must possess all the qualifications and none of the disqualifications.

B. Disqualifications
1. Officer or employees of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and Elected Government Officials.
2. Having conflicting interest with the cooperative business.
3.Persons who have been convicted judicially or administratively of an offense involving moral turpitude or judicially declared insolvent, spendthrift, or incapacitated to contract.
