People see the uniform, the ocean views, and think this is a vacation.
They don't see what it really takes to be a seaman, a seafarer living the life at sea.
Behind the photos is a lot of missed sleep, 12-hour shifts, stress you swallow down, and days where your body and mind are just tired of pushing through.
4 months on the ship and I'll be real - it's not as fancy as it looks. It's tiring. It's stressful.
This is hard work, the kind that tests you every single day.
Some days I can't even taste the food here.
No appetite, just forcing myself to eat. I've lost weight without even trying.
But I'm still here. Still standing. Still fighting for the dream and the people I'm doing this for. J
