Morning Reflection
TITLE: Honor God with your Talent!
VERSE:
ββ¦If God has been generous with you, he will expect you to serve him well. But if he has been more than generous, he will expect you to serve him even better.β
(Luke 12:48)
They say, if you want something done, give it to the busy person. Donβt give it to the person with an open calendar or the always available dahil usually marami na rin yun na tinanggihang pananagutan. So huwag tayong laging nagluluksa na dumadami yung ginagawa natin.
Dapat natutuwa tayo na katuwang nya tayo because we are fellow servants. Lesser ministry duties can lead to much less ministry or no ministry at all.
It is our privilege that we are asked to do more.
Loving others includes using the gifts provided by Godβs Spirit. Each of us are gifted with talents and abilities we can use to bring glory and honor to God. In addition, we have spiritual gifts βfor the common goodβ
Weβre all a part of the body of Christ, and each part matters. There are no insignificant people in the family of God. You are shaped to serve God, and he is testing you to see how you are going to use the talents he gave you.
Absence of ministry can lead to nothing. It can even lead to disability. The saddest part is it can lead to dispossessing the gift. Yung binigyan ng isang talent sa parable of the talents, hindi nya naparami, kaya binawi sa kanya. Kung mayroon tayong gift from God at ayaw nating mabawian, mag-isip-isip tayo.
PRAY:
Lord God, please remind us that the purpose of our giftings is to give You glory and serve others. We want to use our gifts to point people to You. Please help us to do that. In Jesusβ Name, Amen.
Our gifts are very pleasant to Him. He loves to see us lay our time, our talents, our substance on the altar not for the value of what we give, but for the sake of the motive from which the gift springs.
